Vegetation respawns at a rate of one item per eight hours and rocks don't respawn (think twice before removing them). Gem Box and special obstacles do not count. The number of obstacles you can have at the same time on your village is 45. The cycles are: obstacles in your Home Village, original obstacles on your Builder Base and spawned obstacles on your Builder Base. However, there are three independent cycles on your Home Village and Builder Base, but the gems rewarded always follow the exactly same order. Removing regular obstacles can give you 0 to 6 Gems. In fact, they don't even show up on Clan Wars. Troops can be spawned beside and/or on top of obstacles, so placing obstacles and decoration items on your village will not affect the enemy attack. They are fixed and can't be moved, except if you use the Magic Item Shovel of Obstacles.

From there I’d recommend filling out the weapon tree that you didn’t go with initially so that you can swap weapons are your leisure before finally going back and buying up all the useless skills you skipped over. Still, you have to take Helm Splitter and it’s just 6 SP so might as well grab it.Īfter that, start investing all your points in Shields, focusing on the passive defense bonuses.
All the skills are good except Helm Splitter after getting Scrap Mettle (Scrap Mettle is a direct upgrade). If you’re going Axes, just grab everything. Grab the Strength +20 node and the +2 crit chance node and then you’re done for swords. If you’re going Swords, go straight up to Falcon Slash and grab the Attack Power +6 node to unlock Gyrfalcon Slash. Swords are more powerful for single target damage, and Axes have more utility. Refund all of Hendrik’s points as soon as you get him to start off with a fresh slate.ĭecide if you’re going to use Swords or Axes. No matter what, you’re going to be putting points into Axes in order to unlock the skills in the Fraternity tree, but you don’t unlock the Fraternity tree until much later, so here’s what I’d recommend you do. Not many people use Greatswords on Hendrik since he can’t use shields with them and he has a whole skill tree dedicated to shields. The general rule of thumb is that Axes are the best and most versatile until you can get Gyrfalcon Slash, and then Swords overtake them. You should make a decision about which weapon you want Hendrik to focus on. Later on, he gains access to a 6th tree: Fraternity. In Dragon Quest 11 Hendrik joins your party with access to 5 different skill trees: Swords, Greatswords, Axes, Shields, and Heroism.
